About The G.R.O.W. Place
A community committed to growing in faith and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

A Prayer for The G.R.O.W. Place
Grounded in Purpose. Rooted in Faith.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up The G.R.O.W. Place and all who labor within its walls and beyond them.
You are the God who causes things to grow — not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit. So we ask that everything planted here — every seed of hope, every act of service, every word of encouragement — would take root deeply in You.
Lord, establish this ministry on solid ground. When the winds of opposition blow and the seasons change, let our roots hold. Let our foundation be not the strength of our plans, but the steadfastness of Your promises.
Bless the leadership. Give wisdom to Pastor Wesley and the trustees to steward this work with integrity, vision, and humility. May every decision made in this place reflect Your heart for the people we serve.
Grow us, Lord — in faith, in capacity, in community. Let what we build here outlast us, and let the fruit of this work bring glory to Your name alone.
For every life that walks through our doors uncertain, may they leave knowing they are seen, known, and loved by a God who tends to what He plants.
We trust You with the roots. We trust You with the harvest.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Something good,
something great,
something growing..
is happening for you right now!
At The G.R.O.W. Place, growth happens when we allow God to work in three ways:
Transform
Letting God's Word renew our minds.
Transition
Following His lead in a new direction.
Transmit
Living out His love to everyone we meet.

Meet our pastor
Pastor Wesley O. Dunlap, Sr.
Pastor Wesley Dunlap is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ and helping people grow in faith, purpose, and community.
His heart for The G.R.O.W. Place is to cultivate a welcoming environment where people can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and live out the Gospel together.
Early Foundation
Pastor Wes is a devoted servant of God whose life has been marked by a deep and abiding love for the Word of God. From an early age, he has been both a student and a steward of Scripture, a passion that continues to shape his ministry and calling today.
Ministry Journey
In 1998, while serving in the United States Army at Camp Pelham in Munsan, South Korea—guarding the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)—Pastor Wes answered the call to ministry. By late 1999, he was faithfully serving as the Pastor of a church established at Camp Pelham, where he ministered to fellow soldiers. During this time, he had the privilege of baptizing many, including his Staff Sergeant, and praying with others as they received the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Pastor Wes spent the majority of his life serving under the leadership of his grandfather, the late Bishop Sandy Dunlap, at The Eliezer Church of Christ in Columbus, Ohio. It was there that his passion for ministry was cultivated and his commitment to serving God’s people was firmly established. Under his grandfather’s guidance, his musical gifts were also established and nurtured, becoming an integral part of his ministry expression.
Leadership & Evangelism
Answering the call to evangelism, Pastor Wes dedicated over 15 years to traveling across the country, preaching and sharing the Gospel. With a clear conviction of his calling to full-time ministry, he later submitted to the pastoral leadership of Bishop Howard Tillman at New Covenant Believers’ Church. Bishop Tillman was widely regarded as the very definition of, “The Evangelist.” Over more than 30 years of faithful service, Bishop Tillman imparted into Pastor Wes a strong foundation of prayer, fasting, reverence for the Word of God, and a deep burden for reaching the lost.
Current Ministry & Vision
In January 2026, while serving as a Campus Pastor for the Southeast Campus of New Covenant Believers’ Church, Pastor Wes was led by God to launch The G.R.O.W. Place—“Go Reach Our World.” This ministry is rooted in the foundational principles of the first-century church as outlined in Acts 2, with a central emphasis on the personal responsibility of evangelism. Pastor Wes carries a burning passion to reach the lost—both inside and outside the walls of the church—and is committed to equipping believers to do the same.
